How to apply
- Contact DST via Contact us and request sales agent partnership. Include your business profile, territory, and expected referral volume.
- DST reviews your application and, if approved, creates your agent login in the admin console.
- You receive credentials and must verify your email before using the agent portal.
- Your agent profile is assigned a unique agent code and set to active status.

How commission works
- A company completes a subscription payment (Flutterwave or approved manual transfer) while your agent code is present in the checkout session (
?agent=in the URL). - DST calculates commission as a percentage of plan revenue (NGN, excluding gateway fees) based on the plan's agent commission rate.
- A commission row is created with status pending.
- DST admin approves then marks paid with a payout reference; you receive notification when commission is earned.
Important: Registration alone does not guarantee commission. The customer must complete payment with your agent code on the checkout link. Renewals and later purchases also qualify if they checkout with your code again.
Referral best practices
- Send the registration link first, then follow up with a checkout link when they are ready to pay.
- For barcode plans, guide them through How to get a barcode.
- For QR-only clients, point them to How to get a QR code.
- Remind customers not to remove
?agent=from the URL before paying. - Keep bank details current in agent settings for smooth payouts.
Troubleshooting
- No commission after a sale — confirm the payment URL included
?agent=YOUR_CODEand your agent status is active. - Cannot sign in — verify email; contact DST if account is suspended.
