These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, APIs, registry, and customer portals.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Registry and identification services

  • Company prefixes, GTINs, and barcode batches are issued subject to your active subscription plan and DST allocation policies.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of product data, label artwork, and any public verification content you publish.
  • Misuse of identifiers—including deliberate duplication, counterfeiting support, or circumvention of recall controls—may result in suspension or termination.

Acceptable use

You may not use our services to violate applicable law, infringe intellectual property, transmit malware, scrape the registry without authorization, or interfere with platform security. We reserve the right to investigate abuse and cooperate with lawful requests.

Subscriptions and payments

Fees, billing cycles, and plan limits are described at checkout and in your account dashboard. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Refunds are handled according to the plan terms in effect at purchase.

Intellectual property

DST retains all rights in the platform, software, documentation, and branding. You retain rights in your product data. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the services for your internal business purposes during an active subscription.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. DST does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every trading partner will accept a given symbology. Our aggregate liability arising from these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to DST in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Delaware, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.
